How to connect your Instagram with your Humanz account

How to connect your Instagram to your Humanz account:

Before we begin, please make sure you've completed the following checklist:

✅ Your Instagram account is set to a Professional or Business account (not a Personal account).

✅ Your Instagram account is public, not private.

✅ You have the Humanz, Instagram, and Facebook apps installed on your phone.

✅ Your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook account.

Once you’ve confirmed all the above, let’s get started:

1. Go to your Profile and tap Edit & Verify.

2. Tap Continue with Facebook.

3. Tap Next.

4. Enter your Instagram username  and tap Continue with Facebook.

5. Accept the Permission request by tapping Continue.

At this point, if you see this screen:

Great! You’re all set. 
You can skip the rest of the tutorial and start using the app.

BUT -  if you see this screen instead:

No worries! 
Just keep following the steps.

6. Open your Instagram app and go to Profile > Edit Profile.

7. Scroll down to the Page section.

Here, you’ll see one of two things:

1. If you see “Connect or Create” just like in the picture, proceed to the next instruction.

2. If you see a page name – Skip ahead to step #15.

8. Tap Connect or Create.

9. Tap Continue.

10. Then, Login to Facebook.

11. And again, on Continue.

12. From there, once again you have 2 options:

1. If you see your facebook page, skip to step #16.

2. If you don’t have a facebook page, we’ll teach you how to do it now:

13. Tap  Create a new Facebook Page.

14. Choose a page name and select a page category. You can choose anything you want, it’s won’t appear anywhere.

Then, tap Create.

15. Once your Facebook page is connected to your Instagram page, you should see your page name on the Page section.

16. Return to the Humanz app.
    If you see the Verified by Humanz screen, congratulations! You can close the tutorial and start bidding on Instagram campaigns through our app.

If not – there is still one more thing to do:

17. Open your Facebook app and go to menu > Settings & privacy > Settings.

18. Scroll down to Apps and Websites and tap it.

19. Tap Business Integration.

20. On the bottom of the page, look for Humanz - Insights and tap it.

21. Tap Remove at the bottom of the page.

22. Click once again Remove.

23. Now for the last step, fully close your Facebook app and your Humanz app, and re-open your Humanz app. You should now see that your Instagram is connected and verified under your Profile tab. If not, just repeat steps 1-5.

And that’s it! You’re ready to start working on Instagram campaigns through our app. Good luck!
